WELCOME TO KJERRINGØY FISHING LODGE! Come join us at the tip of Kjerringøy, a short ferry ride from Bodø, on Norway’s beautiful northwest coast. We have 10 cozy fisher’s cottages, a restaurant, café, outdoor grill, and lounge – all situated on a 1500 square metre pier. With fjords and majestic mountains in every direction, a true outdoor adventure awaits you. Set off by foot to discover white sand beaches and scenic viewpoints, or venture out on the water in one of our small boats. If chill-time sounds more appealing – no worries – grab a lounge chair and kick back, warm up in our sauna, or jump in the hot tub. On Kjerringøy you set the tempo. On fair days we fire up the grill and serve delicious food out on the pier. No matter the weather, we welcome you to our restaurant (in or out) every day from 1 to 8 pm during the high season. The bar remains open a little later. In the evening we recommend heading to RE – laxen, our own lounge at the end of the pier. With a fireplace, bar, books, comfy chairs, and a breath-taking view of the fjord, it’s a perfect place to wind down the day. Contact us
Kjerringøy is only about an hour from Bodø by car. Hop on the ferry and drive the length of the island until you run out of road, that's where you'll find Kjerringøy Fishing Lodge. The inn was originally a fishery where shrimp boats also unloaded, but for the past 30 years it's been used as summer accommodation for groups and tourists. Our ten, newly renovated, fisherman's cottages can accommodate up to 40 guests, while our café/pub and conference facilities can seat up to 60 people. The entire lodge is situated on a 1500 square meter pier.
